ODYSSEY'S END is author, William S.E. Coleman's semi-autobiographical take on a World War II hero's homecoming to his small, Pennsylvania hometown. Before Vietnam, before Iraq and Afghanistan, before PTSD had a name, our veterans had to deal with all of the issues that veterans of these later conflicts did. Coleman looks unflinchingly at the country when none of that was in the collective consciousness; when "our boys" had to deal with their problems on their own, in the context of a country triumphant.
Stark Naked is proud to present ODYSSEY'S END as it's second offering in this season's reading series, sponsored in part by the HOUSTON PRESS.
