15th Season Announcement Party and Gala Fundraiser

Friday, March 21, 2025 | 6:30pm - 9:30pm

Hotel Saint Augustine
4110 Loretto Dr, Houston, TX 77006

“Though this be madness, yet there is method in’t.”

You are cordially invited to 4th Wall Theatre Company’s inaugural Fête celebration, a gala dinner announcing our upcoming season and supporting our mission of producing the most extraordinary, up-close theatre in Houston. This year’s affair will take place at the Museum District’s newest gem, the Hotel Saint Augustine, and is inspired by our spring 2025 production of HAMLET, a stripped-down re-imagining of Shakespeare’s classic for a modern audience. Pick your poison at 6:30 p.m. during a spirited cocktail hour followed by a royal feast from the Aaron Bludorn-lead culinary team. Entertainment, auction, and raffle revelry will surprise and delight throughout the night!

Honoring Dan O’Brien

This year we honor Dan O’Brien, a passionate arts advocate, visionary entrepreneur, industry leader, and showman whose boundless creativity rivals that of The Bard himself.  As the Co-founder of J&D Entertainment and the founder of My Genealogy Journey, Dan has demonstrated an exceptional ability to blend business acumen with artistic vision. In the four years that Dan served faithfully as a member of 4th Wall’s Board of Directors, Dan was instrumental in propelling the theatre to new heights. His innovative spirit and flair for entertainment transformed the organization, most notably through a series of spectacular, cabaret-style galas that brought the community together in unforgettable ways. Dan’s contributions have left an indelible mark on 4th Wall and the Houston theatre and entertainment communities at large.

Hotel Saint Augustine is within walking distance of the Menil Drawing Institute and a ten-minute drive of the Museum District, Rice University, and Hermann Park. The property takes inspiration from the spirit of the museum collection and of Houston itself—a duality of old world and new, a rich diversity and a forward-thinking sensibility. Perseid, the hotel’s restaurant, will be helmed by well-loved Houston chef and restaurateur Aaron Bludorn and his front-of-house partner Cherif Mbodji. Named for the spectacular Perseid meteor shower that peaks in the month of August each year, it will offer a take on the quintessential neighborhood bistro.
