Regional Premiere of Acclaimed Off-Broadway Adaptation

In this stripped down, modern adaptation from Off-Broadway theatre company BEDLAM, 4 actors take on over 30 roles as they offer a fast-paced, intimate reimagining of Shakepeare’s classic masterpiece. Having been summoned home to Denmark to attend his father’s funeral, Hamlet is shocked to find his mother already remarried — to his father’s brother, Claudius. Worse still, Claudius has had himself crowned King despite the fact that Hamlet is heir to the throne. No wonder Hamlet suspects foul play.

“An engaging, highly physical production of Shakespeare’s complex masterpiece that feels as raw and incestuous as the state of Denmark itself.” —Time Out New York
