Excellent! A very well-written play with socio-political and emotional complexity and in-depth character development. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a play that was better cast than this one: each actor was ideal in his or her role. Although this play deals with some very complex emotions and interpersonal relationships, it was neither dark nor depressing. Instead it was eye opening and thought provoking. My group of four left immensely satisfied and eager for your next production. This is exactly where an evening in the theater should take one. Keep doing these edgy, unique, intensely professionally produced plays that people like me know they will never see anywhere else in Houston.

Everything works in this marvelous production of a carefully nuanced script. Four unforgettable performances of Rebecca Gilman's flawed yet relatable characters sorting out how to live in our world today. The production values are perfect. The kitchen living space filled with a life of memories. The lighting and sound effects  took us to the prairie and inside the minds of struggling people. From impeccable stage direction to thought provoking gut wrenching real performances, this production is 4th Wall at its best! Please continue to bring us the best theatre experience in Houston.

Absolutely top notch acting. Stellar play all around. Have already recommended the play to several people. And I always sing the praises of 4th Wall as offering the best productions in the city.

The acting was exceptional. The set and staging were also first rate, and the story was gripping. Each character was well developed and very relatable. The surprising event towards the end could have left the audience quite sad, but we were saved by the hopeful ending and left the theater with much to talk about. What more could an audience ask for?!

I loved it. I couldn't stop crying towards the end. I have brought my mother, a recently widowed woman, to a number of your more serious shows. This one really hit close to home. It's also always so pleasantly surprising to see all the unique ways the space at 4th wall is utilized. The sets always make me feel in awe of all the hard work that goes into every detail. Please continue to make raw emotional shows that really dig deeper into the human experience. It's relatable and important for people who don't have the examples, to see it and hear it. I really have come to appreciate that with your theater and I hope to, and look forward to, seeing more.

Beautiful, relevant, honest, and, in the end, devastating.

I am very happy with 4th Wall.  I have found the plays to often tell a story that has a lot of meaning and continues to be in my thoughts after I leave the theatre. The very first play I saw there was "Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train".  I was hooked and became a supporter of 4th Wall.

Give us more plays like this--new, timely, emotionally gripping.
